Recommendations

I have referred several clients to Jim who need help with intellectual property issues, ranging from trademark and patent claims, to copyright issues. Jim is an exceptionally bright lawyer who knows this very technical area of the law very well. He is a hard worker and does an excellent job at keeping his clients informed. I have always received positive feedback from clients who have worked with him and I strongly recommend Jim to any person who needs help with an IP issue.

Christopher Thayer
Civil Litigator

Patent prosecution is a complementary skill to my law practice, and prior to meeting Jim, I had really struggled to find a patent attorney who I could confidently refer business to. Meeting Jim has been a godsend, because his personable manner and thorough approach have resonated strongly with my clients, who have nothing but glowing reviews for the value of his work product as well as his approach. I don’t like making referrals unless I stand behind the service provider, and when I refer business to Jim, he always makes me look good! What more can you ask?

I have known Jim since we interned together at a major law firm and have continually been impressed by his knowledge of intellectual property law and his ability to find the best solutions for clients’ IP needs. His background in science, business, and law, serves his clients well. Although his practice continues to grow, he maintains the quality and service with his clients as if they were his only priority. I confidently recommend clients to Jim for their patent needs.

Mark Funke
Real Estate Attorney

I have known Jim Ruttler since he was attending Law School and obtaining his MBA at the same time. I was impressed from our first meeting and nothing has happened since to affect my full confidence and appreciation of Jim’s talents and abilities. Jim is a first-rate person: honest, practical, responsible and highly motivated to do the best job possible even when tackling the most challenging projects. Coupled with those qualities is an outstanding technical proficiency and an ability to break down the issues into clear and succinct terms. If I have an intellectual property issue, I recommend Jim or contact him for consultation without hesitation.
